Select 7 Instructional Basketball League

Youth Sports Leagues / Select 7 Instructional Basketball Programs -
Fall 2023

There is an ever-widening gap in youth basketball. Too much “organized play”; instead of skills acquisition, and how to apply these things in games. Basketball players must possess the fundamental skill to take advantage of what they see, when on the court. Many coaches have a fascination with plays, complex actions, or multiple defenses, instead of sound teaching. This is why today’s players, and many teams, are in the shape they’re in. SELECT 7 is our answer!

What are the Select 7? It refers to The 7 Key States each player will experience, being part of our league:

Instruction

Observation

Correction

Repetition

Retention

Competition

Enjoyment
