HV United Volleyball Club is a brand new program brought to you by HV Rec and Community Ed.

In partnership with the Carls Family YMCA
HV United Basketball League is an in-house league that provides the opportunity for students to learn and play basketball in a recreational setting. Our program focuses on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship and FUN!
This recreational program utilizes volunteers for coaching (this volunteer will likely be a parent).
New divisions this year:
Beginner - if your child is brand new to basketball or if this is their first sport experience or if you just feel your child would be most successful at the beginner level, please register for Beginner.
Advanced Beginner - if your child has been playing for a few years and has some skills already developed or if they are an athletic child who will do just fine with kids who have been playing for a few years, please sign them up for Advanced Beginner. This is still a recreational league, so please set your expectations accordingly.
~Practices scheduled to start the week of Jan. 8. Each team will be assigned 1 M-F for 60-90 minute increments at various HVS schools
~Games will be played on Saturdays starting January 20 and finish by March 2nd (to avoid conflicts with spring sports). If we do get weather cancellations, we will try to reschedule those games, so you could play up until March 16, but only if we have cancellations.
There will no games on Feb. 17 (for mid-winter break); Team pictures will be Feb 24.
HV Rec and Ed will now provide 2 paid scorekeepers per game so parents no longer have to help at the scoretable.
Register 2 or more children for the Basketball league and receive a $5 discount for each additional child. Discounts applied at checkout.
NEW!! Parents/guardians who volunteer to coach will receive a discount on their child's registration fees. This will be refunded back AFTER we confirm who the coaches will be for the season.

Coaches Meeting to review season expectations, schedules, etc is set for December 20 via Zoom. Details will be forwarded to coaches a few days before the meeting.
NEW this year, skills clinics with HVS Varsity coaching staff (included in fee):
Dec 20 @ Lakeland HS Aux Gym from 7-8 p.m. with LHS Coach Mike Leitheim, we will send out a link to sign your child up for this so we can keep numbers manageable.
Feb 19 @ TBD with MHS Coach Tim Olszewski, we will send out a link to sign your child up for this so we can keep numbers manageable.
Registration fees won't be collected until November 15.
