About Spring Mills Empower Hour
Empower Hour will offer students a wide variety of programming in their own school building, immediately before or after school. All Empower Hour programs will meet once a week for six weeks, and are priced in three different tiers to reflect the amount of supplies needed. The programs at each specific school will change throughout the year - some examples of programming that we will offer include art, sports, science, music, karate, crafting, recreation classes, and more!

Featured Courses

  • Musical Theater: The Greatest Showman

A six week workshop focused on a variety of performance talents including singing, acting, dancing, gymnastics, etc. Students beginner through advanced are encouraged to join. At the end of our 6 weeks we will hold a performance for friends and family.
  • Land Sharks Running Club

What? An after school run club once a week for an hour each day! Where? Practices will be held on the track at Spring Mills Elementary. Your child will not be crossing roads, but may run indoors to deal with inclement weather conditions. Practice will NEVER be cancelled due to weather. You will pick up your child at 5:15 in the back of the parking lot by the playground and shed. Why? The focus of this club is to begin teaching your child about healthy exercise habits and show him/her how fun it can be to engage in a sport they can do their entire lives. No matter what pace we run, we’re still exercising our hearts and building a healthy foundation for “life after competitive sports!” In addition to the regular class, there will be a registration fee for the race that we will be participating in as well. Please contact Mr. Fletcher regarding registration for the race and for specific details.   *Students should bring a healthy after-school snack and a water bottle to each practice.
