Practice schedules are determined by the coaches and will be shared with you once your child has been assigned to a team. You can select your practice preferences during registration. You can also select your coach request and 2 player requests. Practice schedules will be loaded into your TeamSnap account.

Game schedules will be shared approx 1-2 weeks before the season begins. Game schedules will be loaded into your TeamSnap account.

Intro to Sports Officiating

We hire 13+ for officials for our programs! Great first job/part time/flexible job!

Practice & Game Information:

Practices:

  • Volunteer coaches will select their practice days/times/locations.
  • Once your child has been assigned to a team you will be notified of their practice details.
  • During registration, you are asked to include practice night requests. If we are unable to make this work, we will provide a refund.
  • During registration you may also make a coach request and player requests.
  • Teams will practice 1 or 2 days a week. Mon-Fri, either 6-7:30 p.m. or 7:30-9 p.m. Ages 4/5 practice on Saturdays before their games.
  • Practices are held at various HVS elementary and middle schools and Carls Family YMCA.

Games:

  • Games are on Saturdays
  • Games are played between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and are 1 hour time slots. Sometimes teams may have a double header.
  • Schedules will be posted 1 to 2 weeks before the season begins and will be available on your Team Snap account.
  • Games are played at Carls Family YMCA in Milford

Equipment Needs for United Soccer League:

Provided by HV Rec & Ed:

  • Game Ball
  • Uniforms (shirt in fall; shirt and socks in spring)
  • Pinnies for goalies
  • Corner Flags
  • Goals
  • Officials
  • First Aid Kit
  • Balls provided in the Fall
  • Cones for practice
  • Pinnies for scrimmages at practice


Provided by coaches/families: (check with your coach to find out what needs to be provided)

  • Balls needed in the spring
  • First Aid Kit/Ice
  • Athletic apparel
  • Shin Guards
  • Soccer cleats are not required, but recommended


TeamSnap App - Starting Summer 2023!

HV Rec and Ed has invested in the TeamSnap App for team communication, schedules, etc. Once your child has been assigned to a team for one of our sports leagues, you will receive an invitation to join that team's roster and then have access to game schedules, practice schedules, rosters, team communications and more!
