HV Rec and Ed Volleyball Leagues

Practice schedules are determined by the coaches and will be shared with you once your child has been assigned to a team. You can select your practice preferences during registration. You can also select your coach request and 2 player requests. Practice schedules will be loaded into your TeamSnap account.

Game schedules will be shared approx 1-2 weeks before the season begins. Game schedules will be loaded into your TeamSnap account.

Practice & game information for Fall/spring league:
                   

Practices: Fall/Spring

  • Volunteer coaches will select their practice days/times/locations.
  • Once your child has been assigned to a team you will be notified of their practice details.
  • During registration, you are asked to include practice night requests. If we are unable to make this work, we will provide a refund.
  • During registration you may also make a coach request and player requests.
  • Teams will practice 1 or 2 days a week. Mon-Thurs, either 6-7:30 p.m. or 7:30-9 p.m.
  • Practices are held at various HVS elementary and middle schools.

Matches: Fall

  • Matches are on Friday nights
  • Matches played between 6 and 9 p.m., 1 hour time slots. Sometimes you may have double headers.
  • Schedules will be posted 1 to 2 weeks before the season begins and will be available on your Team Snap account.
  • Matches are played at HVS middle schools and/or high schools.

Matches: Spring/ Summer

  • Spring Travel Rec League
    • Matches played on Friday nights
    • Matches played between 6 and 9 p.m., 1 hour time slots. Sometimes you may have double headers.
    • Matches played at various gyms in HVS, Hartland, Howell, & Brighton.
    • We play in this league with other community programs.
    • Schedules posted 1 to 2 weeks prior to start of season in your Team Snap acct.
  • Summer Outdoor League
    • Matches played on Wednesday nights
    • Matches played between 6 and 9 p.m., 1 hour time slots. Sometimes you may have a double header.
    • Matches played at Muir MS field.
    • Practices are also all at Muir MS for the outdoor season.
    • Schedules posted 1 to 2 weeks prior to start of season in your Team Snap acct.

Equipment needs For Rec Volleyball leagues:

  • Game Ball
  • Uniforms (shirt)
  • Officials & Line Judges
  • First Aid Kit/Ice
  • Scoreboards
  • Ball cart, as requested
  • Cones, as requested

Provided by coaches/families: (check with your coach to find out what needs to be provided)

  • Volleyballs
    • Gr 3-6: Volleylite
    • Gr 7-8: Regulation volleyball
  • Court Shoe
  • Athletic apparel (including kneepads)

TeamSnap App - Starting Summer 2023!

HV Rec and Ed has invested in the TeamSnap App for team communication, schedules, etc. Once your child has been assigned to a team for one of our sports leagues, you will receive an invitation to join that team's roster and then have access to game schedules, practice schedules, rosters, team communications and more!
