In memory of Carson Dunn, Coach Brian Kennedy has partnered with HV Rec and Ed to create the Carson Dunn Memorial Scholarship Fund. This fund will help remove financial barriers for athletes to participate in the Future Stars basketball program. Carson was a 10 year old boy whose life tragically ended much too soon. When your child has a Smartphone there are key things you should know in order to keep them safe and secure. In this class you'll understand recommended safety settings on popular social media apps, parental apps for your child's Smartphone, and more! We simplify this complicated technology so that you and your child can use the phone safely without worry.

Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid and Safe Home Alone Learn to be safe and responsible. Build confidence. Have a competitive edge over other babysitters. Topics include first aid, when and how to call 911, CPR with manikin practice, choking, dealing with difficult behaviors, basic care methods like feeding and diapering, marketing and more! Students will also learn how to be safe and responsible when home alone, including the importance of not giving out personal information and what to do if somebody comes to the door. Students who successfully complete the course requirements will receive a certificate of completion for Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid course by Live Safe Academy (valid for two years). Parents, this class is for students who are independent and responsible enough to be responsible for the safety and well-being of younger children without adult supervision. Class will end between 2 PM and 3 PM depending on when students complete the course requirements. Students need a lunch, snacks, and a fully charged cell phone (if they own one). If your student does not have a cell phone, please write down the cell phone number of the person picking them up and give it to the student. Students will message their ride at lunchtime to let their ride know what time to pick them up. Please check in your student at the beginning of class. Drop off and pick up is in the classroom. Pen and paper for notes is optional. Common questions and insights on social media will be reviewed so that you're up to date on the latest buzz words and topics. This class for the female golfer focuses on combining swing development, on-course play; with a focus on safety, etiquette, and fitness. Golfers should bring their own equipment (limited clubs are available) and a water bottle. Range balls are included in the price of the class. Limited to six participants per class. Each day, players will learn important in-game skills to improve and level up their play while also learning teamwork, communication, and building confidence - all through fun gaming activities and competitions. Fortnite: Computer, Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch compatible Sample Daily Schedule 12 pm: Intro and individual skills 1 pm: Team exercises and strategy session 1:30 pm: Mechanical skills training 2 pm: Camp tournament 3 pm: Camp ends HOW IT WORKS Register your child by clicking HERE and select the game your child is most interested in. At the end of the camp, players will compete in a tournament among all the campers! You can sign up as an individual, invite friends, or join as a full team. IMPORTANT DETAILS Each camp is five days long for three hours each day. 12-3pm Eastern Camps include 9 hours of instruction and training from experienced coaches. Camps are open to girls & boys aged 7-10 & 11-15 of all skill levels. All camps are virtual. Players connect with their teammates and coaches through our secure, online communications tool. This camp is designed to teach the fundamentals of football. This is a non-contact camp that will teach the fundamental techniques of tackling, throwing, kicking/punting, receiving and blocking. We will also work on speed and quickness development. This is a great opportunity to get into a Football State of Mind going into the fall season.
