Starting SoonBasketball: JD7 Essential Skills Training with Jessica DulebaBasketball ProgramsJoin Professional Basketball Player and Lakeland High School's Grad, Jessica Duleba, for Essential Basketball Skills Training. Coach Jess has made it a point that there is a disconnect between what many players are being taught and what actually happens in a game. In visualizing what she wanted her Essential Skills Training Sessions to be, this was the thought that kept coming through on a consistent basis. Basketball is a great game. And it’s a lot of fun! But for girls and boys to get the most out of it, means they should possess the fundamental skills that will carry over, as ESSENTIAL for every team, in every season, and at every level. Each session will be heavily focused on skill development, on both the offensive and defensive ends of the court. The sessions will include, but are not limited to, passing, dribbling, shooting, defensive tactics/footwork, mental preparation, and more! Please bring a water bottle and an appropriate sized ball: intermediate basketball (28.5") for girls and boys 6th grade and younger; regulation basketball (29.5") for boys 7th grade and older.Winter/Spring 2023
