The Country Oaks after-school musical theatre production this year is "TBD".
This program is for Country Oaks Students in the 4th/5th grade only.
New this year, students must apply to participate in this program and once approved, they will receive a registration link. If your child is not approved, you will not receive the registration link. Selection into this program is primarily based on behavior. Additionally, participants must be able to attend at least two rehearsals every week after school until 5:15 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Click HERE to apply now. Applications will be accepted until 9/1/24.
For the final week, we will need everyone at rehearsal on Tuesday and Wednesday, and our performance will be at 7:00 P.M. on TBD in the Country Oaks gym. Everyone in the show will have plenty of opportunities to shine, and leading roles will be assigned according to ability, attitude, and attendance. The show will be directed by Mr. Marquis, the Country Oaks music teacher. Contact Mr. Marquis at doug.marquis@hvs.org for more info.
Excellent behavior is expected. Bring a snack for after school, and be ready to sing, dance, act, work hard, and have lots of fun! Students will receive a script to keep. Families will be asked to provide some basic pirate costume items, and some parent help coordinating costumes, the cast party, and other needs would be welcome. If behavior becomes an issue, your child will be removed from the class without a refund.
