  • MHS Girls Youth Volleyball Camp

    This camp is open to any ability level, boys or girls. Instruction for this camp will be provided by Milford’s varsity volleyball coach, Andrea Malburg, and her volleyball staff. This camp will introduce and teach the major skills for volleyball: passing, setting, attacking, defense, serve and serve receive. This camp will give each participant a chance to meet new people, learn the game of volleyball, interact and learn from current Milford volleyball players. Ages 7-11 should be Grades 2-5 for Fall of 2023. Ages 12-14 should be Grades 6-8 for Fall of 2023. All participants will receive a t-shirt. Registration fees will be charged on 7/1/24.

  • Safe Town HVS

    Safe Town is an early childhood safety education program. Children learn all aspects of safety through projects, songs, games, presentations, and plays. This program teaches bus safety, electricity and water safety, dog safety, stranger safety, bike safety and much more. Visitors come each day. Crafts supporting the daily theme are completed and children get important information about starting school. Part of each day is spent "In the Town" with some of the children being pedestrians and some as drivers of 14" or 16" two-wheel bikes with training wheels. PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD BRING IN THEIR OWN LABELED HELMET AND BACKPACK. Safe Town is for children entering Junior Kindergarten, Kindergarten or First Grade in the fall. The sessions meet for one week for three hours per day. Children are required to bring their own lunch with a beverage (nut free). Scholarships are available for this program.   • Sanchin-Ryu Karate For Families

    A parent and child program for all ages! Price includes all family members in same household (please register just 1 family member). Set in a fun, non-competitive and informative atmosphere, this program allows parents to learn alongside their children. Physical techniques will be instructed along with drills and exercises, to help you have a positive experience with your self defense education. Sanchin-Ryu will teach you how to use your whole body, rather than just certain muscle groups, so size and stature are not an issue. Uniforms are available, but not required. Registration fees will be charged on 7/1/24.
  • Sanchin-Ryu Karate For Kids (Ages 4-14)

    This program combines two crucial courses into one, Sanchin-Ryu Karate & Self-Defense and Project: Secure Child (child safety). Students will be trained with proven, age-appropriate techniques that are necessary for kids to protect themselves from attackers. This program is set in a fun yet structured, environment which will give your child a positive outlook on learning a martial art. Participants will achieve great self confidence and leadership through the physical techniques, mental strategies, drills and exercises they are lead through. Uniforms are available, but not required.
  • Self-Defense and Safety Camp for Children

    Kids, have fun and learn to be safe at the same time! Learn real self-defense and practice on an instructor wearing a padded suit. You’ll also learn fire safety, how to use 911, stranger awareness, drug resistance, gun accident prevention and more. Cartoons, art, physical practice, and classroom games are just some of the fun ways that you will learn in this camp. Parents, nothing is more important to us than our children.   • Skyhawks Beginning Golf

    Skyhawks Beginning Golf is powered by Payne Stewart Golf Experiences, the recommended entry-level golf program for PGA Junior Golf Camps. The unique, games-based play program and modified learning equipment make it easier for kids to hit the ball and experience early success. Putting, chipping, pitching and full swing, are all taught through games, simple repetitive motions and learning rhymes that make it easy for young kids to remember and repeat. Specially designed, age-appropriate golf equipment is provided.
  • Skyhawks Cheerleading Camp

    This class teaches young athletes the essential skills to lead the crowd and support the home team! Each participant will learn cheers, proper hand/body movements and jumping techniques. There is no stunting, just a big focus on fun while each cheerleader learns important life skills such as teamwork and leadership. The program concludes with a final cheer performance. Participants should bring a water bottle, two snacks, sunscreen (outdoor camps only) and wear appropriate athletic attire. Every child receives an award certificate and Skyhawks t-shirt.     Experience the excitement of football with Skyhawks Flag Football Fueled by USA Football. Using a curriculum developed by the experts from USA Football, coaches will teach skills like passing, receiving, kicking and flag pulling. Participants will gain confidence and learn important life lessons in a fun, positive environment. Participants should bring a water bottle, two snacks, lunch (full-day camps only), sunscreen (outdoor camps only) and wear appropriate athletic attire.     Skyhawks Lacrosse Camp

    Athletes will learn the fundamentals of stick handling, cradling, passing and shooting in a fun, non-checking environment. All equipment is provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own lacrosse stick. Participants are not required to wear goggles, a helmet or gloves due to the use of soft lacrosse balls and our staff ensuring non-checking, non-contact play. Participants should bring a water bottle, two snacks, sunscreen (outdoor camps only) and wear appropriate athletic attire. Every child receives an award certificate and Skyhawks t-shirt. By the end of the week, your child will walk away with knowledge of multiple sports along with vital life lessons such as respect, teamwork, and self-discipline. Ultimate Games will focus on games such as capture the flag, kickball, dodgeball, ultimate frisbee, and other camp style games. Remember to bring 2 snacks and water.     Kids will learn base-running, batting, throwing, catching, player positions and rules. Players will scrimmage during class time. Fun and humor make this a positive learning experience.     Junior stars will continue practicing the basics of stroke production (forehands, backhands, volleys and serves) and movement using exciting games and activities in a fun atmosphere.
